Default Perma Green Haze?

Hey, just wondering if its possible to get the green haze from the quest Drink from the Chalice of Corruption permanently (for looks) on your toon. I remember a long time ago seeing people with the effect in town and am curious whether it's still possible (and how??)

Thanks in advance,
T.T

Do this quest, Drink from the Chalice of Corruption, drink it and don't finish the subsequence "Masters of Corruption" quest should do it. Could be wrong though, haven't done this is a while.

you will get -2 degen while the green stuff is around you
and it will stay on you until you've done the quest or abandoned it

Last time I tried it was when I was a noob. Scared the crap out of me cause it stayed with me in town. Don't see why it wouldn't still.

Does that count as a pvp area? Try RA or something =\ (even though it shouldn't count as a pvp area ^_^;; )

Does the effect degen you or just show up? Could be useful for saccing away life say for death-leveling a pet or something.

It will cause you to lose life in all explorable areas. Probably pvp arenas as well. It won't affect you in outposts, but yes, you'll die in explorable areas if you don't heal yourself.

It may look cool to you, but personally I refuse to pug with folks that have that mess on them unless they are still in the marketplace Canthan areas. After you reach the high end areas you need to get rid of it. Otherwise you're just putting an unnecessary burden on the monks.

No, no, because they have to bring Mending to counter the degen! xD
